A best practices approach to is often used

A best practices approach to physician surveys is often used to reduce costs and maximize results. For instance, an introduction letter from a respected academic and/or a well-known physician is often used as a first step in contacting a prospective survey participant. Most often physicians will be compensated for their time spent on the study and a check may be enclosed along with the introductory letter. The questionnaires are going to be very focused on a particular topic and should take only 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Reminder postcards are also sent out for most physician surveys as a way to give a gentle nudge to encourage those who may have forgotten about it.
